With all the Supernatural I’m watching I wanted to paint Devil’s Traps on my nails, but I can’t go to the office with pentagrams on my hands. So this is my subtle solution, with five points on five fingers it’s kind of like a pentagram, no? And of course, I had to use Impala colors.
I used Revlon’s Top Speed Metallic and Essie’s Licorice.
I caved and painted my nails for Valentine’s Day because I was inspired by this awesome tutorial.
The grey is Essie’s Cocktail Bling (my new favorite) and the white is Sally Hanson’s Complete Salon Manicure Lavender Cloud.
Last week marked my first attempt at using tape to make a design. I’ve also started trying to knit, so I’m holding my first center-feed ball of yarn, which I’m proud of, and my stub of a scarf, which I am not quite as pleased with. >.<
The light red is a really old Sally Hanson colour, the dark red is Sally Hanson Complete Manicure Red Zin, and the silver is Revlon Top Speed Metallic.
For the New Year’s masquerade party I went to I did something simple to go with the mask I wore.
I used many layers of Sally Hanson’s Salon Manicure Polar Bare to get a slightly transparent porcelain effect, then did the tips with the Gold Chrome Colour Quick Pen.
I decided to get all glittery for Vegas.
I used essie’s Licorice and Nicole by OPI’s Nicole’s Nickel. I originally wanted to do a glitter gradient, but I got that coverage with only one coat!
As a follow-up to my pokeball nails, I decided to add a pickachu face to my yellow nails this week.
I’m sensing a theme. Water pokemon next?
The yellow is Revlon’s Top Speed - Electric
This post is doing double duty: showing off the nails I’ve been happily wearing all week and my new mug.
The mug is freaking adorable and was found at David’s Tea. There are three more Mug Tails in the collection; a squirrel, a cat, and a rabbit.
The nails are Sally Hanson’s Fractured Foil Crackle Overcoat, over the same’s Thinking of Blue Salon Manicure.
Inspired by my sister a couple weeks ago, Pokenails! =D
After the make-up test yesterday I had to paint my nails because they had turned green. I got these particular colors because I wanted to paint each of my nails to look like the TARDIS, but alas, I have to go back to the office tomorrow. So I opted for a simple TARDIS-inspired design instead.
